Fourteen years inside the admin side of medicine

"Professional Competence for your personal confidence."

Our story

CollectMed Pty Ltd was built around a simple observation: practitioners are trained to treat patients, not to chase medical schemes. Yet the health of a practice depends on claims being submitted correctly the first time, rejections being corrected, payments being allocated to the right account, and someone actually following up on what is still outstanding.

For more than 14 years we have done exactly that work for South African practices from our offices in Roodepoort. Over that time we have seen how schemes change their rules, how coding errors quietly erode income, and how much of a practice's cash flow is decided by administrative discipline rather than patient volume.

We offer two service levels — CollectMed Complete and CollectMed Collection — so that a practice can hand over the whole admin workflow, or only the part it struggles with. Fees are negotiated per practice, because no two books look the same.

How we work

Confidentiality first

Patient and financial information is handled on a need-to-know basis, in line with POPIA principles and practitioner confidentiality obligations.

Accountability in numbers

Every practice gets regular reporting on billings, collections and ageing. If a figure moves the wrong way, you hear it from us first.

A partner, not a call centre

You deal with people who know your practice, your specialty and your scheme mix — not a ticket queue.

Support for your staff

We train and support reception and admin staff rather than talking past them. Better front-desk capture means fewer rejections downstream.
